We have paddling sessions each day (available by advance booking on 07788444579)

River Paddles
Canoe and Kayak Rentals, River trips and paddle tours from the River Stort

Canoe Club weekend paddling sessions
Saturday morning paddling sessions take place 9.30am to 12.30am.
Our Saturday morning sessions include training for flat and white water skills in both canoes and kayaks and includes all paddling equipment. 
  
Kayak Rental and Canoe Rental starting at 9.30am and 12.30pm till 3pm. We can provide all the equipment to help with your paddling session with over 20 kayaks and 15 canoes to choose from we have boats to suit a wide range of paddlers.
Family paddling sessions can be arranged to head up to Harlow Mill Where there are opportunities for a Break, drink or meal at a local Pub, suitable for a first trip out or for a longer paddle head up to Sawbridgeworth Maltings for Lunchtime at the Shed or a picnic on route at Feakes Lock.


Sunday morning coaching sessions and canoe and kayak rental  from 10.30am to 3pm
at Redricks Lakes.Sawbridgeworth CM210RL all equipment provided.

Mid week Club Canoeing sessions 

Midweek paddle programme for Autumn and Winter up to Christmas 
Organised  by  Stuart Andy, John and Richard. 
One week on the River Stort to include taster sessions for new paddlers on the River Stort and the next week to tour other rivers suitable for competent paddlers. 
River Lea and Stort back to Redricks Lake paddles. Dates  
Thursday 11th October - Hertford to Rye House. Lea. 
Tuesday. 16th October. - St.Ives loop. Great Ouse. 
Thursday. 8th November-Chelmsford to Paper Mill Chelmer. 
Thursday. 22nd November-Rye House to White Water Centre. Lea 
Thursday. 6th December-Rye House or HCYC to Redricks. Lea/Stort. 
Tuesday. 18th December-Lock 1 to Redricks. Stort. 
Numbers maybe limited to the number of Kayaks/Canoes we can transport on the roofs of our cars unless the club trailer is required.
BCU membership or Club membership required to participate on mid week paddles
Paddle  from £35 per Open Boat, £25 per kayak 
Starting from 10am unless advertised otherwise.

Paddling courses


We have a  canoes, kayaks and paddling kit for individuals and groups to paddle together.
Develop paddling skills and learn to paddle, roll and try out new techniques,
Redricks lake has a Cafe and picnic area available for after your paddle, offering the perfect location for paddling on the River Stort and exploring upstream to Sawbridgeworth or downstream to Pardon Mill on club paddling sessions.

Book out  boats for a couple of hours or take part in a guided tour of the river.
