What we offer at Whoosh Explore
We can offer paddling sessions each day (available by advance booking on 07788444579) 

Saturday Canoe Club paddling sessions
Saturday morning paddling sessions take place 9.30am to 12.30am.
training for flat and white water skills in both canoes and kayaks and includes all paddling equipment. 
  
Kayak Rental and Canoe Rental 
We can provide all the paddling equipment.(We do not provide wet suits or waterproof clothing.) 
We have boats to suit a wide range of paddlers.


Family paddling sessions 
Family paddling sessions are asuitable for a first trip out and ideal for getting used to paddling, we welcome younger paddlers and older paddlers over 9 years old can paddle their own Kayak. (We recommend that smaller paddlers under 9 years old start off learning to paddle with a parent/ adult.)


Sunday Paddling sessions starting in March
Sunday  coaching sessions and canoe and kayak rental available.  
Boats and equipment from £35 per Canoe and £25 per Kayak (subject to availability of Volunteer staff)
at Reedings Meadow, Keckys, Reedings way Sawbridgeworth CM21 9DT all equipment provided.

Mid week Club Canoeing sessions 
taster sessions for new paddlers on the River Stort and tours to other rivers suitable for competent paddlers.

Whoosh Explore Canoe Club started on its New Years Resolution a couple of days early by collecting 60 plastic bottles out of the River Stort on th 27th December. We are looking to invite the Independent to get behind our campaign to get the River Stort Clear of litter over 2019. Join us in our campaign to clear the river as well as get fit on each weekend from Redricks lakes and help us improve by paddling to protect the river environment. We have boats and equipment which has been supported by Greggs and Tescos to help us collect rubbish, we just now need some volunteers to help us.

Paddling courses


We have a  canoes, kayaks and paddling kit for individuals and groups to paddle together.
Develop paddling skills and learn to paddle, roll and try out new techniques,
Reedings Meadow is Near Sawbridgeworth which has a choice of great Cafes and picnic area available for after your paddle, offering the perfect location for paddling on the River Stort and exploring upstream to Sawbridgeworth or downstream to Pardon Mill on club paddling sessions.

Book out  boats for a couple of hours or take part in a guided tour of the river.
