Canoeing and Kayaking Adventures.

Whoosh Explore is a paddling club based on the River Stort in Hertfordshire. 

Paddle the river or join in one of our kayaking trips each weekend.

We run paddling sessions for individuals, families, groups and for parties in kayaks and canoes on local rivers in Hertfordshire, East Anglia and Essex.Try out new techniques or practice paddling skills. Join us for a mornings paddle or enjoy a weekend away.

We have a fleet of canoes and kayaks suitable for individuals or groups looking to develop paddling skills, we offer regular tours of the river, trails and coaching based at a beautiful private lakeside location with cafe, easy parking, great river access, swimming lakes, beach area and yoga studios on site, our trips are ideal for beginners through to experts.

Paddling sessions are available weekends and evenings from Redricks Lakes, Redricks Lane Sawbridgeworth CM210RL.

Our boats are some of the best available for learning in, our kayaks and canoes are supplied with a range of equipment from dry bags and spray decks, to sails to try out.

Paddling Events 
We run paddling sessions on the River Stort at Redricks Lake in Sawbridgeworth. 
We can arrange for paddling sessions on the river on most days as well as trips on the river on weekends. Paddling sessions normally start at 9.30am on saturdays.

Go canoeing sessions   
Weekend and Evening paddling sessions on the River Stort from Redricks lakes available each evening and Saturday mornings.

Times 3.40pm to 5.15 on Saturday evenings

New paddlers always welcome.

Joining the club. 
Paddle 3 times with the club before applying for membership or you can join British Canoeing for discounts on all our paddling sessions. 
We sign up paddlers for Whoosh Explore membership after your third paddling session which offers discounts on future paddling sessions and British canoeing Insurance.(current membership to the club is £15)
Coaching sessions. 

Coaching Sessions 
We specialize in one to one and groups on the water from Beginner to moving water coaching in open boats and Kayaks with training sessions suitable for beginners to white water development skills, we can get you paddling with confidence at the club.  

Holiday paddling 
We offer BCU 1 and 2 Star training, Paddle power courses and Kids paddling sessions.

Paddling tours on local rivers 
we can deliver paddling kit to a river near you for river tours for up to 20 paddlers on each trip. 

Paddle tours in East Anglia
Tour the River Stort from either Pig Lane or Spellbrook Lock to Redricks Lake,the River Lea paddling from Redricks lakes to Rye House or from Stanstead Abbots.paddle the River Cam from Grantchester to the Backs  and Chelmer from Paper Mill to Hoe Lock or Haybridge Basin.
